The Law Society Rules and Code of Professional Conduct for British Columbia (“BC Code”) outline the responsibilities of lawyers and articled students who are licensees of the Law Society. They detail the Law Society’s expectations regarding licensee conduct. These are rules and standards that if violated could constitute professional misconduct or conduct unbecoming the profession.
