Indigenous Navigator

About the Indigenous Navigator

An Indigenous Navigator is now available to consult with Indigenous hearing participants about the services that they can offer specifically for Indigenous people as they navigate the Tribunal's hearing process.

If you self identify as First Nations, Inuit or Métis and you are a complainant, witness, respondent or license applicant at one of our hearings, we invite you to reach out to the Indigenous Navigator.

Using the Indigenous Navigator's services is entirely voluntary. While the Indigenous Navigator does not offer legal advice, they  can provide guidance and support. Collaborating closely with both parties involved and the Tribunal, the Navigator ensures that Indigenous laws, practices and customs are respected and incorporated into the proceedings. The Navigator's assistance can greatly improve the accessibility and effectiveness of the Tribunal for Indigenous individuals, promoting a more equitable and just process.
