Victoria Lawyer Lindsay Ross Disbarred

Victoria Lawyer Lindsay Ross has been disbarred following a finding that he misappropriated trust funds from clients involved in real estate investment matters, misled clients, another lawyer and the Law Society about those trust funds and that he acted in a conflict of interest, misled clients and facilitated a breach of a trust agreement on another real estate matter. The panel held that no other sanction - a fine, suspension, supervision, education - would protect the public from a lawyer who has shown himself to be dishonest and untrustworthy. Ross will also have to pay $49,075 in costs.
